□ Contest Title: 2026 Tourism Data Utilization Contest – Web & App Development Category

□ Application Period: March 30, 2026 ~ May 6, 2026 (Wed), until 4:00 PM (16:00)

□ Category: Web & App Development

□ Process:

• Preliminary Screening & Orientation: May
• Service Development (with consulting support): October
• Function Evaluation: October
• Final Evaluation: October
• Award Ceremony: November

□ Theme: New tourism services such as web and mobile applications utilizing the Korea Tourism Organization OpenAPI (mandatory)

□ Eligibility: Open to all Korean citizens (individuals or teams)

□ Awards:

• Grand Prize (1 team): Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award (10,000,000 KRW)
• Excellence Prize (5 teams): Korea Tourism Organization President Award (3,000,000 KRW each)
• Merit Prize (10 teams): Korea Tourism Organization President Award (1,000,000 KRW each)
• Encouragement Prize (15 teams): Korea Tourism Organization President Award (500,000 KRW each)
• RTO Special Prize (1 team per institution): RTO Head Award

※ The Grand Prize winner will be selected after integrated evaluation with the “Web & App Implementation Category” contest (to be announced separately later)

※ If no suitable candidates are found, the number of selected teams may be adjusted
